GA Group delivers 2,500 m² in office space for Crédit Agricole Titres in under 7 months.
GA Group has just taken receipt of the works on the 2,500 m² in office space built for Crédit Agricole Titres in Mer (Loir-er-Cher). The building consists of the new inter-company cafeteria, 2 floors and a car park.
GA Group responded as a General Contractor, with Crédit Agricole Titres as Project Owner, Crédit Agricole Immobilier as AMO and the architectural firm SERAU.
Delivery came less than 7 months after the start of works, a feat made possible by the construction mode that makes the GA Group unique. First of all, the project is comprehensively modelled, from design to delivery, in 3D, using a digital model, on FullBIM. Then, the structural and façade components are produced, along with the infrastructure equipment that go into them, in the factory. Completing the process, the materials are transported and assembled on site.
This unique industrial approach, more frequently found in the automotive sector than the building sector, enables GA Group to keep to very tight deadlines, down to the day.
GA construction sites stand out not only for their swiftness. They are also sites that emit very little pollution, particularly noise pollution, as the bulk of the work takes place at GA factories. This was a very important factor in this case, as the works had to be carried out on an occupied site. GA construction sites are also a clean sites, as only the necessary materials are brought to the site, while the waste is processed at GA factories. Lastly, they are also sustainable sites, since GA’s territorial coverage was defined so as to keep the carbon impact due to truck movements to a minimum. In the case of this building, the prefabricated elements came from GA’s factory in Criquebeuf, Normandy.
Beyond our construction processes, our speed and our quality of execution, we pay take particular care to guarantee the comfort of our customers. It is our belief that offices must be designed to serve employee performance and, people who feel good produce better work. The employees at Crédit Agricole Titres will thus be able to look forward to bright work spaces, with full-height glazing, and real thermal comfort thanks to the systems we have developed: air treatment modules and double bay windows with integrated blinds.
These systems contribute to the building’s environmental performance in that they consumes very little energy and are connected to and controlled by Galaxy Pilot, the power consumption steering and monitoring software designed by GA.
