NOW Living Spaces Campus in Toulouse receives the “Health and Comfort” Special Mention at the 2021 Green Solutions Awards!

08.06.2021

The first building of the NOW Living Spaces Campus in Toulouse was acknowledged at the 2021 Green Solutions Awards with the “Health & Comfort” Special Mention.

Today, Construction21, the social media platform for the building and the city, unveiled the French winners of the 2020-21 Green Solutions Awards competition. In France and internationally, these awards recognise real solutions which have already been implemented in buildings, neighbourhoods and infrastructures, helping to speed ecological transition.

A special mention for the first building of the NOW Living Spaces Campus

Located in the Saint-Martin-du-Touch district in Toulouse and 500 meters from the future Airbus Saint-Martin station of the 3rd metro line, the first office building of the NOW Living Spaces Campus has nearly 5,000 m2. It was leased by the Alten Group and sold to UNOFI. It is part of the “NOW Living Spaces” Campus, a 16,000 m² housing complex consisting of three other commercial buildings, a parking lot with 380 spaces pre-equipped with electric charging stations and a 600 m² space for bicycles, equipped with showers and lockers. The complex will also offer its users a 300 m2 terrace, as well as service areas such as a company restaurant, cafeteria and concierge service, etc.

NOW Living Spaces is recognised for its strong biophilic approach and quality of life at work

The goal of NOW Living Spaces, designed by Label Architecture and Sight is to offer a dynamic and inspiring work environment that allows its future occupants to work in contact with nature, in an ecosystem that balances well-being and productivity. The campus was designed with a strong biophilic approach while focusing on user comfort. A true green area, “NOW Living Spaces” was designed to be a breath of fresh air in which employees grow in a special setting at the heart of the Toulouse aviation complex. The buildings are open and designed to interact with nature. In order to make the most of the outdoor spaces, the 1,500 m2 landscaped park also features outdoor furniture and offers a fitness trail.

NOW Living Spaces is targeting HQE® certification at the “Excellent” level, the new Ready to Osmoz labels for quality of life at work and user comfort, as well as the R2S label, which recognises the quality of the building’s connectivity. The operation was also selected as a test site for the new R2S-4Grids certification characterising a building’s energy management.

NOW Living Spaces joins the Agua club in Toulouse, the Technopôle in Grenoble and the Ivry-sur-Seine Designated Emergency Shelter

With its great “Health & Comfort” Special Mention, NOW Living Spaces takes its place among other accomplishments that have been recognised by Construction21 in recent years. Agua in Toulouse, our head office, won the 2016 International Green Building Solutions Awards in the Smart Building category, the Grenoble Technopôle became Best Smart Building, France at the 2018 Green Solutions Awards, while the Ivry-sur-Seine Designated Emergency Shelter, built by Ossabois, also received the top Student Award in 2018.
