Having already delivered the new site for Crédit Agricole Titres in Mer (Loir-et-Cher), Abellio for Crédit Agricole Immobilier and the “Village by CA” in Toulouse, followed by the Crédit Agricole Alsace-Vosges, GA Smart Building has just delivered an emblematic office building in the heart of Toulouse, rehabilitated for Crédit Agricole 31.
Offering surface area of 11,000 m² on G+7, Crédit Agricole’s new head office 31, just inaugurated, now opens its doors to 480 employees daily.
After 27 months of works, with an initial phase of cleaning and asbestos removal, the rehabilitation project for this building located in the heart of Toulouse involved major restructuring, but also modifications to the vertical corridors and the creation of an interior hall and patio.
This new office building designed by PPA Architectures, Scalene Architects and ABC Architecture offers a company restaurant, gym, and carpark on 3 underground levels. The real estate project has been designed to facilitate the daily lives of its users and meets multiple criteria under the “Well” certification. Special attention was paid to acoustics, with the installation of an all-new high-performance false ceiling. As to the lighting, ergonomic installations will regulate the general lighting, while also taking into account the site’s occupancy rate.
A “Village Square”, extended by a vast wooden terrace, has been set on the ground floor as a place for employees to meet and interact. Lastly, two terraces are available on the 4th floor with a splendid view of Toulouse and the Pyrenees.
One of the key aims was to create an overlay for the fully glazed, double-skinned ventilated façade, which now lights up and comes alive every evening from 5:30pm thanks to 3 km of integrated LED strips.
The building has been awarded HQE “exceptional performance” certification, and matches the most demanding standards and progress in the field, for instance with the climate-regulating beams in the false flooring installed to provide heating and cooling at the site.
The works were carried out in FullBIM, developed by GA Smart Building, which offers a unique level of understanding of the buildings. The 3D model, a compilation of all the information about the building and its functioning, will be given to Crédit Agricole’s teams upon the project’s completion.
