GE Capital Real Estate has chosen the GA Group for the refurbishment of a 13 000 sqm office complex dating from the eighties.
The complex, located in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, has just been leased by Nissan Europe on a 9-year unbreakable contract for the relocation of teams from Nissan Europe SAS in France.
Surrounded by trees, the future campus has been named Hajimé, the Japanese call to begin a shiai or bout in certain martial arts.
The campus will be able to accommodate 1 100 employees from April 2017. Staff will benefit from a car park with 500 spaces and a company canteen serving 800.
Designed by the architectural firm MP &C, the project will boast a new identity. Existing facades will be replaced, the new ones will be produced in one of the GA Group’s factories, situated in Normandy, before being shipped and assembled on site.
Hajimé will thus comply with international standards in terms of comfort and environmental performance. Note that it has already been awarded the BBC Effinergie Rénovation certificate.
Two specialist teams from CBRE worked on the project: one acted as tenant representative in the transaction and the other marketed the property.
