On behalf of Aktya, we will be supplying Grupo Antolin with a new 22,000 m² mixed industrial and tertiary sector complex in Besançon.
Located in the centre of the Greater Besançon Metropole, in the Temis technology park, which specialises in microtechnology, one of the largest Bisontin projects in Franche Comté is underway. Aktya, the project owner has a building entirely made to measure in CPI (Contrat Promotion Immobilier [Real Estate Development Contract]) for its lessee, the international automotive equipment manufacturer Grupo Antolin. The project aims to bring together its four existing sites in the city into a single location and thus accommodate its French subsidiary’s 350 employees.
The 18,000 m2 ground floor will house production (injection, assembly and electronics) and storage halls as well as a research and development laboratory. On the first floor, the tertiary section of 4,000 m2 will become the French Grupo Antolin head office.
The property complex has significant environmental objectives. It aims to meet the highest standards and developments in the field and will be level E3C1 as part of 2017 Effinergie labelling, i.e. RT2012-20%. Solar energy production on the roof ensures 1,400 MWh/year and will be used by Grupo Antolin for its own consumption.
A special emphasis is placed on the low-carbon concrete framework with architectural facade panels and washed gravel facing, combining our expertise while respecting the user’s and the project owner’s wishes. In addition, the offices will be equipped with air treatment modules and double frames with integrated blinds developed by GA Smart Building.
VRD work will begin in the summer of 2021 with turnkey delivery scheduled within just 13 months. This technical prowess is made possible thanks to our unique construction approach and the integration of the Group’s extensive skills, from FullBIM design for the tertiary sector through off-site prefabrication for structural and façade components, right through to on-site assembly.
In September 2020, we were awarded the contract, and together with Aktya and Grupo Antolin, we embarked on a rigorous and highly successful process of fine-tuning the detailed design specifications, including submitting a Building Permit (BP) application in just two months, in order to meet the deadline. The building permit application was submitted to Besançon City Hall on 28 January 2021.
We are proud to undertake this project in close collaboration with Aktya, who has placed its trust in us for the second time. This partnership has made it possible to fully meet Grupo Antolin’s requirements while complying with the Greater Besançon guidelines, particularly in terms of green spaces and the environment.
