Bureau Veritas has signed a fixed-term 9-year lease for more than 3,000 m² of office space and moved into the Gaïa building on 1 january 2018.
The real estate complex, run as a co-development undertaking by GA Smart Building and Paref, is located in Nanterre and enjoys outstanding visibility, the immediate proximity of La Défense Hub and the Puteaux tram station.
Imagined by the architectural firm “Ateliers 115”, this 11,100 m² building offers a tasteful and pleasant setting with understated décor and design, thanks in particular to the noble materials used, such as wood, glass and steel.
Designed to adapt to modern-day forms of work organization, the office areas are spacious and easily divisible and scalable. The building also offers numerous services: to company restaurant, fitness area, business centre and work café are available to employees, in addition to 174 underground parking spaces.
Generously paned and flooded with light, the work spaces offer splendid views over Mont Valérien and La Défense and contribute greatly to improving quality of life in the workplace, as do the expansive outdoor terraces that adorn the Gaïa.
Special care has also been taken with thermal comfort: the building is equipped with power consumption monitoring and tracking software – Galaxy Pilot® developed by GA – that makes it possible to manage the building’s environmental and energy performance. Users will also be provided with a mobile application enabling them to adjust their comfort parameters from their smartphone, whether heating, air conditioning, or electric blinds, while controlling the energy consumption of their office. The application will also enable them to benefit from the local services available in the neighbourhood.
HQE®-certified, Gaïa delivers on all the environmental performance criteria to which GA Smart Building has committed under an Environmental Performance Contract.
