292 rooms across 8,000 m² near Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport’s Terminal 1
Following a restricted call for tenders, GA Smart Building was selected by VASTINT Hospitality, a subsidiary of the Interogo Group, to build Roissy Charles de Gaulle’s MOXY Hotels. Located near Terminal 1 at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, this will be the first MOXY Hotels in France. Designed by the Austrian architecture agency BWM, this first MOXY Hotels in France will offer 292 rooms spread across 7,800 m² in G+5. It will open to the public in June 2019, after 12 months of works.
United in belief: modularity and on-site assembly
MOXY Hotels Roissy Charles de Gaulle is also the expression of a common vision of “off-site” construction, shared by GA Smart Building and Vastint Hospitality.
All the hotels developed by Vastint Hospitality are built using a modular construction process, in CLT (Cross Laminated Timber). This approach, both sustainable and industrial, enables the construction of high-quality hotels within very short timeframes.
It was thus only a matter of time before GA Smart Building and Vastint Hospitality came together: Working “off-site” in its French plant in Rouen, GA will build the structural components needed to build the infrastructure, the ground floor and the vertical circulation paths. From the 1st level up, GA Smart Building will use the wooden room modules developed and built in Vastint’s factories. Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle’s MOXY Hotels is exemplary of the off-site approach developed by GA Smart Building.
This development aligns in every way with the business diversification process to which GA Smart Building has been committed since 2015.
