We will be exhibiting at stand D71 – Hall Passy – level 1 during SIMI 2021 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris from Wednesday 8 to Friday 10 December. Come and talk with our teams!
SIMI, the real estate sector’s can’t-miss event
SIMI is a forum for the real estate industry, from offices to retail, including residential, logistics, hotels and healthcare. In a few key figures: 28,000 participants, 470 companies and communities and 130 conferences.
“The art of making a city”
This is the central theme of SIMI 2021. For this 20th edition, SIMI is focusing on post-Covid real estate, which has to become even more innovative and efficient.
A “made in GA” programme
Wednesday, 8 December
From 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., a presentation of the Toulouse Raynal Gare Basse project with our President Sébastien Matty and Raphaël Catonnet, Managing Director of Europolia on the Espaces Ferroviaires stand.
A highlight of SIMI, the SIMI Grand Prix awards ceremony will take place at 5:00 p.m. in the Events Room, level 3. The Eklo modular wood hotel in Marne-la-Vallée is a finalist in the “SIMI Real Estate Grand Prix for Services to Companies and Individuals” category. Our fingers are crossed! This next-generation economy hotel designed by Patriarche combines economic performance with environmental ambitions and includes 90 wooden modules produced by our subsidiary Ossabois, with a total of 108 rooms.
The circular Economy Laboratory will host the “CIRCOLAB: first-certified” conference from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. On the agenda, the presentation of the CIRCOLAB reuse label and the awarding of labels to pilot operations, including our future head office in Toulouse! We joined CIRCOLAB in 2018 and signed the circular economy charter in the real estate and construction sector.
Finally, from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m., Sébastien Matty will present our future head office, designed by Studio Montazami and Tezuka Architects near La Halle de la Machine in Toulouse, which is launching a new generation of buildings that meets the expectations of a post-Covid and post-carbon world. Raphaël Catonnet, Managing Director of Europolia, Fabrice Veyron-Churlet, Deputy Director of Oppidea and Philippe Jourdain, Marketing Manager of Oppidea, will be present at the So Toulouse stand.
Thursday, 9 December
From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Espaces Ferroviaires is organising a conference entitled “Toulouse, a partnership-based urban fabric”. Fadia Karam, General Manager of Espaces Ferroviaires, will speak alongside Raphaël Catonnet, General Manager of Europolia, François Leclercq, the architect, and Sébastien Matty.
Throughout SIMI, you will discover 3-metre-high tripods produced by Bernard Reyboz at our stand D71. Tripods are creatures that lie halfway between prehistory and the jungle. They evoke nature and will appeal to your imagination. Also worth discovering are the planosphears made by Sunset, a French street artist born in 1977. The word is the dominant element in Sunset’s work, which explores the art of lettering. Through a reinvented style of writing that combines Arabic and classical calligraphy, the artist creates abstract motifs and figurative portraits without using outlines or drawings.
You will also be able to enjoy coffee and tea produced in a responsible and solidarity-based manner by Café Joyeux, a catering company employing people with disabilities.
Finally, we have chosen a caterer who farms its own fields in the Île-de-France region and also uses producers from the region. On the menu: commitment, authenticity and homemade dishes to add a little extra soul to our stand!
