The last day of SIMI already? Take the opportunity to come and talk to us!
Throughout SIMI, you will discover several sculptures from Youn Cho’s “Girls” series, on loan from Renting Art, at our D41 stand. Youn Cho’s “Girls” expresses the joy of life. True icons, these fantastical characters in bright, contrasting colours reflect the expression of universal childish emotions and the soul. They carry traces of nostalgia for a world of innocence, non-conformism and spontaneity of emotions, imposing themselves as challenges to the passing of time. Like a Niki de Sainte Phalle, each of these faces represents moods, an aspect of Youn Cho’s character, hence the multitude of faces and postures that the “Girls” portray. These are actually pieces of a great internal puzzle.
You will also be able to enjoy coffee and tea produced in a responsible and solidarity-based manner by Café Joyeux, a catering company employing people with disabilities.
Finally, we have chosen to work with Grand Chemin, a caterer that farms its own fields in the Île-de-France region and also uses producers from the region. On the menu: commitment, authenticity and homemade dishes to add a little extra soul to our stand!
