SIMI, the real estate and construction world’s can’t-miss event

With its 22,000 participants, 451 companies and communities, and 130 conferences, SIMI is the most important real estate and construction industry annual event.

The objective is to share innovations and projects in response to the needs of construction and development of cities that serve human needs.

This year, SIMI will address four major city issues:

  • Adaptability for a diverse population
  • Climate and environment
  • Collaboration with territories

Tuesday, 6 December

At 2:00 p.m., GA Smart Building teams will be present at the Sogaris stand to speak about the Hôtel Logistique des Ardoines. This 35,000 m² logistics complex in Vitry-sur-Seine, designed by Chartier Dalix, demonstrates that multi-storey urban logistics can be seamlessly integrated into the urban landscape.

From 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., Sébastien Matty, Chairman of GA Smart Building, will speak at stand D32 of Grand Paris Aménagement during a conference on “The challenges of off-site construction for Grand Paris Aménagement”.

He will join Jean-Philippe Dugoin-Clément, President of Grand Paris Aménagement and Vice-President of the Île-de-France Region in charge of Housing, Sustainable Land Development and SDRIF (Schéma directeur de la région Île-de-France [greater Paris regional master plan]); Soraya Hamrioui, Deputy General Manager of Development at Grand Paris Aménagement; and Luca de Franceschi, Director of Architecture and Sustainable Development at Immobilière 3F.

Right throughout the day, visit our stand to meet and converse with our GA Smart Building and Ossabois staff. There will be a breakfast, a drinks and buffet lunch, sweet treats in the afternoon and drinks and a buffet starting at 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday, 7 December

Just as on Tuesday, on Wednesday, our GA Smart Building and Ossabois staff will also be at our stand D41, which will include a breakfast, a drinks and buffet lunch, sweet treats in the afternoon and drinks and a buffet at 6:00 p.m.

Thursday, 8 December

The last day of SIMI already? Take the opportunity to come and talk to us!

Throughout SIMI, you will discover several sculptures from Youn Cho’s “Girls” series, on loan from Renting Art, at our D41 stand. Youn Cho’s “Girls” expresses the joy of life. True icons, these fantastical characters in bright, contrasting colours reflect the expression of universal childish emotions and the soul. They carry traces of nostalgia for a world of innocence, non-conformism and spontaneity of emotions, imposing themselves as challenges to the passing of time. Like a Niki de Sainte Phalle, each of these faces represents moods, an aspect of Youn Cho’s character, hence the multitude of faces and postures that the “Girls” portray. These are actually pieces of a great internal puzzle.

You will also be able to enjoy coffee and tea produced in a responsible and solidarity-based manner by Café Joyeux, a catering company employing people with disabilities.

Finally, we have chosen to work with Grand Chemin, a caterer that farms its own fields in the Île-de-France region and also uses producers from the region. On the menu: commitment, authenticity and homemade dishes to add a little extra soul to our stand!
