In Tremblay-en-France, GA Smart Building carried out the renovation and extension of the headquarters of RAJA, the global leader in packaging and office supplies.
Designed by Myriam Szwarc from the Agency for Architecture and Urban Planning Myriam Szwarc (AAUMS), this major renovation and extension project covers approximately 6,000 m² and was built by GA Smart Building.
The renovation program focused on enhancing the value of the site and improving user comfort:

4,000 m² of façades were stripped of asbestos and replaced

The building’s surroundings, terraces, walkways, external emergency stairs, and bridges were renovated or redesigned

New extensions were added on the ground floor, first floor, showroom, and the art gallery on the second floor

New spaces such as staff areas, relaxation zones, sports, music, and dance rooms were created

A large open-air car park with photovoltaic canopies was built
The renovated façades provide the RAJA headquarters with better thermal performance, significantly reducing energy consumption while offering optimal comfort for occupants.
A distinctive feature of this project was that it was carried out on an occupied site, requiring a phased and flexible approach to maintain site operations, ensure safety, and preserve the comfort of on-site employees.
The works began in July 2023 and were completed in November 2024, after 17 months of construction.
