SIMI: The must-attend year-end event for real estate professionals

Organized by the Infopro Digital group, SIMI is the essential event to close out the year.

Real estate and construction stakeholders will gather to provide solutions for the development and construction needs of cities, with a focus on human-centered design. You’ll find developers, investors, metropolitan authorities, and B2B industry companies.

Under the slogan Real Estate: A New Era,” this 23rd edition will spotlight emerging market trends, particularly in decarbonization, renovation, and financing — all major challenges facing the industry today.

New in the program: Four key themes addressing the challenges shared by all industry stakeholders:

  • Climate: The climate emergency and regulations make decarbonization a top priority.

  • Usage intensity: Society’s needs are changing, and so are the ways we use real estate spaces.

  • Resources and biodiversity: Growing awareness is driving a holistic approach to sustainable real estate development that integrates biodiversity.

  • Financing: Traditional models are being tested by the economic context — new strategies are needed to ensure investment viability.

Three awards will be presented at the end of the event: the SIMI Grand Prix (refurbished office building | light industrial building | logistics building | mixed-use converted tertiary building), the SIMI Housing & Residential Grand Prix (transformation | usage mix), and the SIMI Patronage and Solidarity in the City Prize.

Highlights of SIMI 2024

Tuesday, December 10 – 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Start the day with a friendly breakfast at 9:00 AM on our GA Smart Building stand.

At 11:30 AM, don’t miss the conference titled Offsite Construction: A Catalyst for the Industry’s Recovery! hosted by the Offsite Industry Association in Room 351, Level 3. The session will be moderated by Gaël Thomas, Editor-in-Chief of Business Immo, and feature the following speakers:

  • Céline Beaujolin, General Delegate, Offsite Industry Association

  • Laurent Girometti, General Director, EpaMarne-EpaFrance

  • Sophie Meynet, General Director of Residential Real Estate, GA Smart Building

  • Béatrice Lievre-Thery, General Director, Sogeprom

  • Emmanuel Rolland, President, Care Promotion

  • Fabien Gantois, Vice-President, National Council of the Order of Architects

This conference will provide an overview of the offsite construction sector in France and offer a special opportunity to share experiences, successes, and the challenges that must be overcome to make this approach a lasting engine of growth. A must-attend event to discover how offsite construction can help revive our industry!

At 12:30 PM, following the conference, join us for a lunch cocktail on Stand D41.

From 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, attend the SIMI 2024 Awards Ceremony, then join us back at our stand for an evening cocktail reception with our teams.

We’ll welcome you again starting at 9:00 AM with breakfast on Stand D41.

At 12:00 PM, enjoy a lunch cocktail to refuel before continuing your exploration of the exhibition.

At 6:00 PM, join us back at the stand for a convivial evening cocktail.

Thursday, December 12 – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Already the final day of SIMI? Join us at 9:00 AM for breakfast and take the opportunity to exchange with our teams.

We invite you to attend the decarbonization conference Modular, Offsite, Prefabricated Construction… Faster and Greener? organized by Construction21 and SIMI, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM in Room 252 A, Level 2. The session will be hosted by Anne-Sophie Tardy, Editorial Manager at Construction21, with the following speakers:

  • Dorize Remy, Eco-business Coordinator and Private Housing & Offsite Reference, CD2E

  • Sophie Meynet, General Director of Residential Real Estate, GA Smart Building

  • Julien Fléchard, Co-founder & CEO, BlocToBuild

This will be a chance to explore key topics like modular and offsite construction, and the challenges of decarbonization. How can we reinvent construction methods to support this transition? How can modular and offsite building reinvigorate the construction market while meeting regulatory and technical standards?

Finally, join us for a lunch cocktail at 12:30 PM, where we’ll continue to exchange ideas on the sector’s key issues.

A Unique Experience at Stand D41

Throughout the three days of the exhibition, RentingART, a specialist in corporate art, invites you to explore a variety of artworks. We strongly believe that exhibitions — like living and working spaces — are the perfect opportunity to make art accessible to all. Visit us at Stand D41 to see sculptures by Léo Caillard and Peppone, two artists whose work will take you on a nostalgic journey back to childhood.

Both artists explore memory and identity through sculpture, though in different ways. Léo Caillard blends tradition and modernity by sculpting classical marble figures with modern twists, such as his Superheroes series that questions our relationship with time. Peppone draws inspiration from Belgian comics, notably with a bust of Tintin covered in pages from his adventures — a nod to Hergé’s work and to the collective imagination, showing how a character’s identity is built through storytelling.

You’ll also be able to enjoy responsibly and inclusively produced coffee and tea by Café Joyeux, a catering company employing people with disabilities.

In addition, we are proud to partner with Fleur de Mets, a caterer known for its commitment to eco-responsibility and inclusion. By prioritizing local and seasonal products, Fleur de Mets emphasizes authenticity, commitment, and artisanal food preparation — all of which will make your visit to our stand truly exceptional!
